Coventry Binders are looking for a contractor to commission a perfect binding line at our site in Coventry; the tender is for the complete binding line. The binding line will include the following pieces of equipment: gatherer, perfect binder and three knife-trimmer. The equipment specified is based in the material specification below:
Sprinter E-XL Gatherer
12 station gatherer exteneded to 20 station with Winspector
2 Hand Feeding Stations
ACC Automatic Caliper System
CCD Opti Control
Double Milling unit
18 clamp binder
Hotmelt spine and side glue
The binding line needs to show energy efficiency improvements compared to the current Wohlenberg City e binding line. The bid should include supply, shipment, installation (easy access on a ground floor unit), commissioning and removal of the current binding line. This is to be used as a deposit for the new line. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of perfect binding line installation, will be competitive and be able to provide the exact specification listed above. There will not be requirement to quote for any required civils work such as power, foundations, buildings and retaining walls. The project timeline should take no longer than 4 months from order confirmation to project completion.
Payments to be agreed in instalments (from order confirmation to project completion), with final 10% payment held back until successful performance testing.
Start date for submission is Friday 24th March 2017, deadline for submission is Friday 7th April 2017.
